04
Bookings & Appointments

Appointments can be made via our online booking system, by phone, by email, or via direct message through our social media channels. A booking is only confirmed once you have received a written or electronic confirmation from us and your deposit (where required) has been received.

Confirmation

You will receive a booking confirmation via email or SMS. It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact details provided at the time of booking are correct. Please review your confirmation carefully. If any details are incorrect, contact us as soon as possible to make amendments.

Arrival

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you anticipate being more than 10 minutes late, please contact us as soon as possible. Arriving late may result in a shortened treatment time or, where the delay would significantly impact other appointments, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and your deposit may be forfeited.

Preparation

Specific preparation instructions will be provided to you prior to your appointment depending on the service booked. It is your responsibility to follow all pre-treatment preparation guidelines. Failure to follow preparation instructions (for example, arriving under the influence of alcohol, having recently used blood-thinning medications, or having recently had injectables) may result in us declining to perform the treatment. In such circumstances, your deposit will not be refunded.

Guests

For the comfort of all clients and to allow our artist to focus, we ask that you do not bring guests to your appointment unless previously arranged. Children cannot be accommodated in the studio during appointments for safety and hygiene reasons.

05
Deposits & Payments

Booking Deposit

A booking deposit is required to secure all appointments (excluding free consultation appointments). The deposit amount will be advised at the time of booking and is deducted from your total treatment cost on the day of your appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • We cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice
  • We decline to perform the service at the appointment following our suitability assessment
  • A genuine medical emergency prevents you from attending, subject to provision of reasonable evidence

Payment of Balance

The remaining balance of your treatment fee is due and payable at the completion of your appointment. We accept payment by cash, card (Visa, Mastercard), and bank transfer. Please check with us prior to your appointment regarding current accepted payment methods.

Payment Plans

Payment plan arrangements are available at our discretion. Any payment plan must be agreed in writing prior to your appointment. We do not offer credit — the full amount must be settled as per the agreed payment schedule. Failure to meet scheduled payments may result in further bookings being withheld until the outstanding balance is cleared.

Pricing

All prices listed on our website and in our communications are in Australian Dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price quoted at the time of booking will be honoured for that appointment, provided the booking proceeds within a reasonable timeframe and no material changes are made to the service requested.

06
Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life is unpredictable. We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, as our appointment slots are reserved exclusively for you.

48+ hours' notice: Your deposit will be transferred in full to a new booking date. No fees apply.

24–48 hours' notice: We will attempt to accommodate a reschedule where possible. Your deposit may be partially transferred at our discretion depending on circumstances.

Less than 24 hours' notice: Your deposit is forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.

No show: Your deposit is forfeited in full. A new deposit is required to rebook. Please see Section 7.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us by phone at 0406 689 689 or by email at [email protected]. Cancellations via social media direct message are not guaranteed to be received in time and are not recommended for last-minute changes.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment in the event of artist illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible and arrange a reschedule at a mutually convenient time. Your deposit will be transferred or refunded in full.

Clients who cancel or reschedule more than twice for the same service may be required to prepay the full treatment cost to secure future bookings.

07
No-Show Policy

A "no-show" occurs when a client fails to attend a confirmed appointment without prior notice. No-shows cause significant disruption to our schedule and result in lost income that cannot be recovered.

  • Your deposit is forfeited in full and is non-transferable
  • A new deposit will be required before any future booking can be made
  • Clients who no-show on more than one occasion may be declined future bookings at our discretion

If you experience a genuine emergency or unavoidable circumstance that prevents you from attending or contacting us in time, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We will always try to be reasonable in genuine and verifiable emergency situations.

08
Health, Medical & Suitability

Your health and safety are our primary concern. Prior to every treatment, we conduct a health and suitability assessment. It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant medical information accurately and completely. Withholding or misrepresenting health information that affects your suitability for treatment may result in adverse outcomes for which we cannot be held responsible.

You must disclose the following (if applicable):

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Current or recent use of Accutane (isotretinoin), blood thinners, or immunosuppressants
  • History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
  • History of cold sores or herpes simplex virus (for lip treatments)
  • Skin conditions in or near the treatment area (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis)
  • Diabetes, autoimmune conditions, or blood clotting disorders
  • Known allergies to pigments, anaesthetics, latex, or adhesives
  • Recent Botox, dermal filler, or other injectable treatments near the treatment area
  • Undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or other medical treatments
  • Any other medical condition that may affect healing or treatment safety
⚠️

We reserve the right to decline to perform any service if, in our professional judgement, the treatment is not safe or appropriate for a particular client. This decision is made in your best interest. Where we decline for safety reasons, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

If you are unsure whether a medical condition or medication affects your suitability for treatment, we recommend consulting your GP before booking. A free consultation with Tee is always available to discuss your circumstances before you commit to a service.

09
Informed Consent

Prior to any cosmetic tattooing, laser removal, or skin treatment procedure, you will be asked to sign a Client Consent Form. This form confirms that:

  • You have been informed about the nature of the procedure, including what it involves and how it is performed
  • You understand the healing process, expected downtime, and that results vary between individuals
  • You are aware of potential risks, complications, and side effects associated with the treatment
  • You have disclosed all relevant medical information accurately
  • You give your voluntary, informed consent to proceed with the treatment
  • You have had the opportunity to ask questions and have received satisfactory answers

You have the right to withdraw consent at any time before the procedure commences. Once a procedure has commenced, withdrawal of consent mid-treatment may not always be possible without risk of harm, and we will discuss this with you at the time.

Consent forms are retained securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable record-keeping requirements under NSW law.

10
Results & Expectations

Cosmetic tattooing, lash extensions, skin treatments, and laser removal are all services where individual results vary. While we always strive for the best possible outcome, we cannot guarantee specific results. Results are influenced by factors outside our control, including your individual skin type, skin tone, oiliness, age, lifestyle, sun exposure, health, immune response, aftercare adherence, and natural healing processes.

Cosmetic Tattooing Specific

  • Cosmetic tattoo pigment always looks darker immediately after the procedure and softens during healing
  • Pigment retention varies between clients — some clients retain colour better than others
  • Oily skin types may not retain fine hairstroke details as crisply as normal or dry skin
  • A touch-up appointment (at 4–6 weeks) is a normal part of the process and does not represent a failed result
  • Results are semi-permanent and will fade over 1–3 years — this is by design

Laser Removal Specific

  • Laser removal is a gradual process requiring multiple sessions — complete removal cannot be guaranteed
  • The number of sessions required varies depending on pigment colour, depth, age, and individual response
  • Results are cumulative and continue to develop between sessions as the immune system processes pigment

We will always discuss realistic expectations with you during the consultation process. We do not represent that any specific outcome will be achieved and our service does not constitute a guarantee or warranty of a particular result.

11
Refund Policy

We are committed to providing high-quality services and ensuring every client is satisfied. Please read our refund policy carefully before booking.

Services Rendered

We do not offer refunds for services that have been performed. Cosmetic tattooing, lash, skin, and laser treatments are services that involve the investment of our professional time, expertise, materials, and studio resources. Once a treatment has been provided, these costs cannot be recovered.

If you are not happy with your result, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment to discuss your concerns. We are committed to working with you to address any genuine issues within the scope of reasonable professional expectations.

Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Considered

A refund or remedy may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • We decline to perform a service at your appointment due to a suitability assessment finding (deposit refunded in full)
  • We cancel your appointment and are unable to offer a suitable reschedule within a reasonable timeframe
  • There is a genuine and demonstrable error on our part that does not meet a reasonable standard of professional care
  • Where required by the Australian Consumer Law (see Section 18)
⚠️

Dissatisfaction based on subjective preference changes after the service is completed, results that fall within the normal range of healing variation, or failure to follow pre- or post-treatment care instructions do not constitute grounds for a refund. The included free touch-up appointment (where applicable) exists to address and perfect results post-healing.

Deposits

Booking deposits are non-refundable except as outlined in Section 5 of these Terms. Deposits are non-transferable to third parties.

12
Touch-Up Policy

A complimentary touch-up appointment (valued at $100) is included with all first-time cosmetic tattoo services (eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip tattooing). This appointment is designed to assess and perfect the healed result after the skin has had time to complete the healing process.

Conditions for the Free Touch-Up

  • The touch-up must be booked between 4–8 weeks after the initial appointment — not before
  • The touch-up must be booked and attended within 12 weeks of the initial appointment — it cannot be carried over or used after this window
  • The touch-up is for the original service only and does not include changes to the design, style, or colour beyond reasonable perfection of the original result
  • All aftercare instructions must have been followed — failure to follow aftercare that materially impacts the result may affect our ability to achieve the expected outcome at the touch-up
  • The free touch-up applies to first-time clients only and cannot be applied to subsequent visits or maintenance appointments

Subsequent touch-up or maintenance appointments after the complimentary session are charged at our current applicable rate, which will be advised at the time of booking.

Cancellation of a touch-up appointment is subject to the same cancellation policy as all other appointments (see Section 6). A no-show for a touch-up appointment will result in the complimentary touch-up being forfeited.

13
Aftercare Responsibility

Following any treatment, you will be provided with detailed written and/or verbal aftercare instructions. Adhering to these instructions is critical to achieving the best possible result, minimising the risk of complications, and ensuring proper healing.

You accept full responsibility for following the aftercare instructions provided. We are not responsible for outcomes that are directly or materially caused by failure to follow aftercare guidelines, including but not limited to:

  • Premature fading, patchy results, or pigment loss caused by getting the area wet, sweating, or exposure to sun during the healing period
  • Infection caused by touching the treated area with unwashed hands, applying non-recommended products, or unhygienic practices post-treatment
  • Scarring or damage caused by picking, scratching, or removing healing skin or scabs
  • Adverse reactions caused by applying non-approved cosmetics, skincare, or active ingredients during the healing period
  • Cold sore outbreaks following lip tattooing where the client failed to disclose a history of herpes simplex or failed to take prescribed antiviral medication
  • Lash extension loss caused by use of oil-based products, mechanical curlers, or failure to follow lash care guidelines

Our full aftercare instructions are available on our website at teebeauty.com.au/aftercare and will be provided to you at your appointment.

14
Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Tee Brows & Beauty, its owner, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:

  • Allergic reactions where accurate allergy information was not disclosed by the client prior to treatment
  • Individual healing variation, pigment retention differences, or results that fall within the normal range of expected outcomes
  • Failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions provided
  • Adverse outcomes resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or medications
  • Third-party actions or events beyond our reasonable control
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage
  • Any loss arising from reliance on information provided on our website, social media, or marketing materials

Where our liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to, at our election: re-supplying the service, or paying the cost of having the service re-supplied.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or condition imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15
Photography & Media

We may take photographs or short video content before, during, and after your treatment for the purpose of:

  • Our professional portfolio and client records
  • Business marketing materials including social media (Instagram, Facebook, Google)
  • Our website and promotional content
  • Educational and training purposes

By attending an appointment, you give your consent to be photographed for the purposes listed above, subject to the following:

  • We will use images that show the relevant treatment area (brows, eyes, lips) and will endeavour to keep your identity private unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise
  • You may request at any time — verbally or in writing — that photos of you not be used in public-facing marketing materials. We will honour this request promptly
  • Full-face images that clearly identify you will only be posted with your explicit consent
  • Images used for client records are stored securely and are not shared publicly

If you do not consent to any photography, please advise us before your appointment begins. We will always respect your preference.

16

We collect personal information — including your name, contact details, health information, and consent forms — for the purpose of providing services to you.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your personal information may be disclosed to third parties only where:

  • It is required or authorised by law
  • You have provided your consent
  • It is necessary for the provision of our services (e.g. secure payment processing)

Health information collected as part of your client intake and consent process is treated as sensitive information and is stored securely. You have the right to request access to your personal information held by us or to request corrections at any time.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
